In the Wind
- In the wind so quiet
- The aspens give a thought
- A gravestone
bears the names
- Of those forever caught
- In the passing of the years
- In the fury of the storm
- Who lived and laughed and died
- 'For I was ever born
- Some folks were time distorted
- Some had no time at all
- A mother and her baby
- Who heard that distant call
- And those whose names are missing
- And no one knows their kin
- Erased by time and weather
- By sun, neglect, and sin
- Children lost in bearing
- A husband lost his wife
- And through the eyes of gravestones
- They mock us, and our life
